Theory test booking during a football match
I am a professional footballer and I play for a third division football club. It is a locally well known club which name I am not allowed to give out to the public as I could be sued for lack of discreteness by the club president. His rules are strict as? something you cant even imagine! Anyway, last Sunday we were playing an away game against our local rivals. The kickoff was supposed to take place at three oclock, just after the dinner. I was meant to play in the first team as I am the top scorer of my team. Just before the first whistle, my friend John reminded me that I wanted, or rather should have, phone and deal with the case of theory test booking at the examination centre. I was astonished to hear that but it already was too late to react. The first half was not good for me because I couldnt focus on the game at all, I was somewhere else with all my thoughts. How could I forget about theory test booking? Where was my head at? Anyway, we did not have a lot of time as the centre was open just till five oclock. It meant that after the game it would be too late for anything. That is how I was forced to use the phone in the changing room and talk about my theory test booking with someone responsible at the centre.
